GENERAL DUTY (SUPERINTENDENT CADRE)
- Superintendent Correction – CONMESS 02: Applicants must be holders of Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from any recognize tertiary institution. This position is only available for Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
- Assistant Superintendent I – CONPASS 09: Applicant must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Water or allied related field) or Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B, LL.M). This position is only available for Federal Fire Service (FFS)
- Assistant Superintendent II – CONPASS 08: Applicant must possess either a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma from a recognize tertiary institution.
INSPECTORATE CADRE
- Inspector – COMHESS 06: Applicant must be a Registered Nurse/Midwives (RNIM) from a recognized tertiary institution. This position is only available for Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
- Assistant Inspector-CONPASS 06: Applicant must possess either NCE or National Diploma in related field of discipline.
ASSISTANT CADRE
- Assistant II – COMHESS 04 (General Duty): Applicant applying for the CDCFIB must possess a degree or academic certification of equivalent depending on the position of application: Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Trade Test Grade II WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with a minimum of four (4) credit passes inclusive of Mathematics and English in two sittings
- Assistant III – COMHESS 03 (General Duty, Drivers/Appliance Operators and Artisans): Applicant applying for the CDCFIB must possess a degree or academic certification of equivalent depending on the position of application: Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Trade Test Grade II WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with a minimum of four (4) credit passes inclusive of Mathematics and English in two sittings

Requirements for CDCFIB Recruitment 2025
Below are the general requirements to enroll in the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment 2025:
- Candidates applying for CDCFIB recruitment must be Nigerian citizens with valid proof of identification
- Candidate applying for the CDCFIB must possess a degree or academic certification of equivalent depending on the position of application: Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Trade Test Grade II WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with a minimum of four (4) credit passes inclusive of Mathematics and English in two sittings
