About the NWDC Scholarship 2025/2026
The North West Development Commission (NWDC) Scholarship is a scheme that is specifically designed for qualified applicants who are either aspiring for Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD role in any of the following field:
- Medical Sciences
- ICT & Education
- Agriculture
- Engineering
Eligible States for NWDC Scholarship 2025
Applicants from any of the listed States are eligible for the North West Development Commission (NWDC) scholarship 2025/2026:
- Jigawa
- Kaduna
- Kano
- Sokoto
- Kebbi
- Katsina
- Zamfara
Requirements for NWDC Scholarship 2025
- Applicant must be indigene of any of the North Western State.
- Undergraduate applicant must not be more than 22 years old; Master’s applicants must not be more than 35 years old and PhD applicants must not be more than 40 years old.
- A minimum of 3.8 CGPA for Master’s applicants.
- A minimum of 4.0 CGPA in Master’s degree for PhD aspirants
- A minimum of 5 credits and 3 distinctions in core science subject in WASSCE for undergraduate applicants.
