Duties of the Ministry of Interior
The Federal Ministry of Interior was created to ensure the security of lives and properties; Management of National emergencies; Recruitment of officers and men of the Immigration Service, Fire Service, Prison Service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps; The Ministry is also saddled with the responsibility of managing the retirement benefits of retirees of Paramilitary Services under its supervision.
Requirements for Ministry of Interior Recruitment 2025/2026
Applicants who wish to apply for the Ministry of Interior Recruitment 2025/2026 must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must be a Nigerian citizen either by birth or by naturalization.
- Candidates must have a valid means of identification like Voter’s Card National Identity card, international passport, etc.
- Candidates must not be below 25 years old and above 30 years old.
- Candidates must hold a higher degree (B.Sc., HND and OND) from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Candidates must have SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB certificate with a minimum of 5 credits (including Mathematics and English Language).
- Candidates must be of good behavior and conduct and with any criminal record.
- Candidates must be 1.70m and 1.65m for male and female respectively.
- Candidates must not be physically challenged (People with Disabilities are not eligible).
